Joust was born November 22, 2009 and bred by Dyane Baldwin of Pond Hollow Chesapeakes

Joust was conceived via a surgical insemination using frozen semen. His sire, Brave, departed over a year and a half before. I had collected some of his semen at an early age, but in hindsight, not enough considering that Brave proved to have a lot to offer as a stud. As his owner I never used him for breeding, putting it off for one reason or another. Until I found myself with none of his female descendants. So I was very pleased when Dyane wanted to use Brave.
